Am upgrading to 2008R2 from 2003.  What's the easiest way to move VPN policies to new swerver?
Th only thing I have left on my win2003 box is VPN access on an old domain controller. I added the RRAS role to one of the 2008R2 domain controllers. Can I copy/paste VPN policies? What do I have to do to move the access from the old server to the new. I didn't set this up in the first place so I'm not too familiar with VPN other than theory. Thanks.

Hello, The way to migrate policies and setting from Windows 2003 or Windows 2003 R2 to Windows Server 2008 R2 is using the Windows Server Migration Tools; you will need to install WSMT on the source and destination computer. There are some steps necessary. Check this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee822831(WS.10).aspx Regards

WOW...the migration tool is harder to install than just recreating the VPN policies. Thanks anyways....
